Next, select three or more resources from this website that you could reuse or remix to implement in your own action plan. For this assignment, write a 2 -3 page paper which provides an overview of a minimum of three of the various strategic leadership types.

Using the results of your work from week two project Identify Overall Scope/ Analysis of Unexpected Results; two additional events will be introduced. You will again analyze the impact of these events to the final project.

In a 2-3 page Word document, discuss your analysis on the following events:

1. It is discovered the refrigerated module is too large for the designed refrigerated backpack pouch. What is your course of action?
2. The subcontractor assigned to build the radio module for the backpack has shut down. What is your course of action?

In your analysis, you should discuss four areas affected by these unexpected events. Three of the areas of the project affected by the events should include changes to budget, human capital, and impact to schedule, and identify one additional area affected by these events.

In this project we use pattern recognition to determine whether a subject is relaxed or planning. In this study EEG data was collected from patients in each of these two states. We build a classifier to help make automated decisions.

Part 1

1. Study the dataset located here: https://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/datasets/Planning+Relax. You will note that there are 182 training patterns of 2 classes with the last column being the class label.

2. Write code to produce produce the posterior probability P (C1|x)

3. Calculate the training error of your classifier, that is over the whole training set.

 

 

Part 2

To ensure that our classifiers generalize, in practice we split the data into a training and a test set.

1. Split the data into 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, and 90% training with the remainder being testing data.

Prevailing wisdom reinforces the fact that working in U.S. health care administration in the 21st Century requires knowledge of the various aspects of health laws as they apply to dealing with medical professionals. Further, because U.S. health care administrators have to potentially interact with many levels of professionals beyond the medical profession, it is prudent that they are aware of any federal, state, and local laws that may be applicable to their organizations. Thus, their conduct is also subject to the letter of the law. They must evaluate the quality of their professional interactions and be mindful of the implications and ramifications of their decisions.

You are employed as a top health administrator at the hypothetical Well Care Hospital in Happy Town. When you were hired, your pre-employment screening involved background checks into any violation of hospital medical misconduct during the last five (5) years. The results showed that you were in good standing with the hospital administration community. During the past year, you had to undergo training in personnel conduct, as well as in inter-employee conduct with medical staff, nurses, technologists, etc. During the past six (6) months, the hospital has been under scrutiny for breach of medical compliance.

Note: You may create and / or make all necessary assumptions needed for the completion of this assignment.

Write a three to four (3-4) page paper in which you:

Articulate your position as the top administrator concerned about the importance of professional conduct within the health care setting. Justify your position.
Ascertain the major ramifications of having professional staff compromise the boundaries of ethics and medical conduct.
Analyze the four (4) elements required of a plaintiff to prove medical negligence.
Discuss the overarching duties of the health care governing board in mitigating the effects of medical non-compliance, as they apply to the rules of practice set forth in the Well Care Hospital governing board’s manifesto.

Action research methodology can provide valuable assessment information regarding the outcome of your research. The major purpose of this assignment is to begin to identify significant themes that are becoming evident in the implementation of your action research project and your data collection. The key is to begin to discover trends in your data without making premature decisions; however minor adjustments can be made next week. Action research provides correlative and data driven information that can be used to make positive changes in the teaching and learning environment (Buczynski & Hansen, 2014); Mills, 2014). Additionally, thinking about the key stakeholders and their role in your research is important as well. In summary, this assignment is a preliminary interpretation of the various data obtained thus far. Without committing to initial assumptions, you are to begin to identify the key patterns that are emerging.
