Explain how you would measure the gains your trainees achieved from the training.

This week, using your homework assignment from last week (your proposal you wrote for your supervisor on whether to purchase the training modules you evaluated), create two evaluation instruments for one of the training modules that you reviewed last week. First, create a pretest that you would give your trainees prior to taking the training. Then, create a Level 2 or Level 3 instrument that shows what the trainees learned after taking the training. Explain how you would measure the gains your trainees achieved from the training. (For more on the levels, see Table 6.1, page 239, of your textbook.) Your submission to the Dropbox should include a title page with your name and pertinent information, your explanation section on how you will measure the gains, and two instruments (i.e., questionnaires, quizzes, survey forms, manager feedback, etc.). The instruments should be copy ready, in that whoever would fill out the instrument (i.e., the trainee or the manager) should be able to do so based on your submission. In other words, don’t just tell what your instrument would be; create the instrument. See the lecture for more information on this as well. If you use a tool like Survey monkey™ (not required but allowed), you can provide the link to the live survey as your instrument(s). If you don’t use a tool like Survey monkey™, then you will need to create a paper copy of your instrument for your instructor to grade. Be sure to publish your survey if you create one, and make the link live for your professor to be able to access and grade.

Paper indicated “The price elasticity of demand is either elasticity or inelastic in the Monopolistic markets.”  it is not perfectly elastic.  I believe with it having many firms which are differentiated products it has elasticity.

For this assignment I would like for you to summarize and critique an empirical  journal article published in a psychology journal. The summary must be typed with 10 or 12 point font and double-spaced with 1-inch margins. Please also write the summary in paragraph form and use your own words to describe the study.

Choose a study that is related to your group’s topic. Hopefully this article will be useful to you in writing your proposal. The article should be an empirical journal article from a peer-reviewed publication. Lastly I would like for you to provide an APA style citation for the article and staple the full-text of the article to your summary. Each member of your group should have a different article to summarize.

The summary must be written in your own words. In your summary include responses to the following points:

c. What variables were studied? What were the hypotheses concerning these variables? How were the variables measured and/or manipulated?

f. What were the main results (describe in words)? Were the results consistent with the hypotheses of the study and the literature described in the introduction? Were there any surprising or unexpected results? DO NOT PROVIDE STATISTICS.

g. How did the researcher interpret the results? Can you think of alternative interpretations? Did the authors discuss the limitations of the research? If so, what were they?

h. Did the authors give suggestions for future research or applications? Can you provide other suggestions?

In this assignment, you will pick two of your many identities to research and analyze in terms of how each identity may affect your provision of services.

Tasks:

Identify one ethnic (e.g., Mexican, Asian, etc.) and one cultural (i.e., this could be religion, sexual orientation, etc.) important identities about yourself. For example, African American or white.

Conduct scholarly research to learn about the values and assumptions that accompany each identity and to learn about how each identity can influence human services in a multicultural and diverse setting.

In a 5- to 6-page paper, analyze and present your findings. Make sure that you address the following in your analysis:

  • Describe each identity and the values and assumptions therein.
  • Compare and contrast the two identities. What are the similarities between the two? What are the differences?

Society’s response to crime has changed over the past century. The approach of rehabilitation in the 1960s has gradually been replaced with a “get tough on crime” approach, bringing in mandatory sentencing laws and long prison sentences. Regardless of the approach, crime continues to be a problem, and recidivism for some crimes and some offenders remains high.
