(How/where did you and your partner get your material?) 2) Why did you choose the Arrangement that you did, and what was it? (What way did you organize your project, and why did you organize your project this way?) 3) What Style choices did you make in writing? Why? 4) How did you use the Delivery method (an essay) to make your points? 5) What Revision advice did you get in peer review/etc., and how did you apply this advice to your final draft? What ideas and information did you Revise as you wrote (your understanding? the audience’s expectations?) 6) Include an accounting of your individual contribution to the project and a discussion of your team’s working dynamics (how did you work together?) 7) Lastly and most important: what do you believe has been successful in your essay? Can you compare Kane to any other film you have seen before?

In your journal give your response to Citizen Kane. Is it as good as it is cracked up
to be? Does “Rosebud” give us any answers? How effective is the structure? Why
has this film been so influential? What part of Carringer’s book did you find most
interesting and why? What did you learn about filmmaking from studying this
film? Can you compare Kane to any other film you have seen before? How? Please
do not answer these questions one at a time in your journal. They simply give you
some of the topics you should address. But I do want you to discuss what you think
Welles learned from John Ford’s Stagecoach, and be specific here

What are the advantages and potential pitfalls with documenting and reviewing our progress (or lack of progress) in the health and wellness measuring process?

Write a 200-word original response to the questions, or write a 200-word response to other students’ responses. So try not to simply post an “online essay” but engage one another, play with ideas, and propose challenges and extensions to one another’s posts.

1. When we are completing the work on an incident and initiating demobilization, what might we find are critical things for incident commanders and other leaders to be mindful of and ensure get accomplished? Is a Post-Incident Analysis (PIA) an effective way of gathering information and interpreting it for increasing safety on future incidents? As one conducting a PIA, what are the potential pitfalls and how might you avoid the group falling into them?

2. How is charting the success of health and wellness analogous to conducting PIAs? What are the advantages and potential pitfalls with documenting and reviewing our progress (or lack of progress) in the health and wellness measuring process? Who is the judge of whether or not successes and failures are “acceptable” or not?

What justifications do the Alien and Sedition Acts contain for these measures aimed primarily at the press?

For next Thursday, I want you to read the attached documents and compose a short written response. These documents consist of excerpts from the 1798 Alien and Sedition Acts, as well the Virginia Resolution, which contains the response by Jefferson and Madison to these policies. After reading these documents, I want you to respond to the following questions in a short written response (a page or so).

1. What justifications do the Alien and Sedition Acts contain for these measures aimed primarily at the press?

2. On what basis does the Virginia Resolution argue that these Acts are unjust?

3. Finally, while our instincts tell us that such measures as the Alien and Sedition Acts cannot be justified, are there certain circumstances where you could see a need by government to limit freedom of the press in this manner?

What types of staffing and training recommendations would you make for the community mental health center?

You are a psychologist in an urban community that has seen a 200% growth in its immigrant population over the past 3 years. Eighty-seven percent of this population speaks a language other than English at home. You work for a community mental health center, which is seeing an increase in referral from this population primarily because of the children’s interactions with the school system. The children typically become bilingual quickly. The parents are typically less fluent in English than their children; however, approximately 30% of the adults in this immigrant population are fluent in English and hold advanced degrees and middle- to upper- middle class jobs. The remaining 70% primarily hold jobs that do not require higher education although many do have degrees from their country of origin.

Based on the reading that i will attach, evaluate research and practice aspects in this applied context and use elements and address the following:
What types of staffing and training recommendations would you make for the community mental health center?
How would you facilitate inter group work relations among staff at the community mental health center?
Would you support the use of the DSM-5 to diagnose clients with limited English proficiency?
How would you evaluate whether or not your staff is competent to work with this population?
Explain the rationales for your answers by providing evidence from the required readings.
