Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to critique a peer-reviewed journal article about
your chosen field of study (program, major) and relate it to what you have learned about
integrated healthcare.
In this assignment, you will:
1.-Locate a peer-reviewed journal article (definition is included at the end of this document) that
discusses your field of study and integrated healthcare (from 2019-present and must be different
from those referenced in the course learning modules).
-Provide a summary of the article’s highlights and main points (1-2 paragraphs, ½ page) (7

-Provide a critique of the chosen article considering and expanding on the following:
-did the author(s) support or not support integrated healthcare as it relates to your field of
study?
-are the author(s) experts in their field? How did you determine this?
-did the article discuss studies that led to their conclusion(s)? Did the authors cite other
studies? Did they conduct studies?
-discuss how this article relates to your major/area of interest. Did it relate? Was it
difficult to follow? Did the article enhance your understanding of integrated health care?

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to assist students to begin to create a portfolio and critical reflection of their clinical experiences.
Rationale: Students will present the common elements identified in their clinical experience and provide a narrative to provide the context of the information. Think about some of the things that you would want to tell a future employer about your clinical experience.
Procedure:
Part I
1. Use data from Emedley reports collected throughout the semester to get the following information:
a. Patient Demographic breakdown: Gender, age, race/ethnicity
b. Top 10 ICD-10 codes
c. Top 5 CPT codes
d. Top 10 medications
e. Top 3 medication classes
f. Top 5 insurances
g. Provide a breakdown of the Total Hours spent in Clinical setting, total hours providing direct patient care and indirect patient care.
h. Utilize graphs
2. Provide a narrative for the different sections identified above. In the narrative explain how your Emedley data (ie. clinical experience) represents your skill and ability in managing acute and chronically ill patients.
3. Highlight relevant themes identified in the analysis of the data (ie. How does this data speak to your skill level and clinical experience? What areas are you strong in? What areas need growth? How do you plan to strengthen areas that you struggle with? etc.)
4. Highlight unique clinical experiences that show your ability to:1) critically think, 2) manage complex patients and 3) work in interdisciplinary teams
5. Discuss the community resources/ patient education resources that you have used this semester.
6. Identify your strengths and weaknesses at this point in your clinical rotation and discuss how you will address weaknesses

7. American Association of College of Nursing (AACN) Essentials met this semester. In a separate document, select 7 out of the 10 AACN Advanced Level Domains. CAPSTONE PROJECT: SYSTEMS DESIGN ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
You will complete this phase using Microsoft Visio and a web development Integrated
Development Environment (IDE). Reference the Learn material in Module 8: Week 8 to
complete the following steps:
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Design a Detailed Network Diagram for a Distributed System
a. List the global locations where the systems will be housed.
b. Develop a minimum of 10 network node design, including:
1. ISP/bandwidth/caching devices,
2. Load balancers,
3. Firewalls,
4. Routers, and
5. Switches.

a. Identify a client-server architecture such as:

MITIGATION TRAINING PRESENTATION ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS OVERVIEW The student will prepare a PowerPoint (Audio/Visual) presentation wherein he or she will design an interagency interdisciplinary course of instruction. The presentation should be designed for those who would be tasked with carrying out risk assessment and mitigation strategies. The student will provide an overview of risk assessment and mitigation techniques and strategies. This should entail applicable policies and legislation. At the minimum various ways to go about conducting a risk assessment will be discussed. At least three different risk assessment tools should be briefly discussed. Critical infrastructure will be covered. Vulnerability and impact assessment will be reviewed. Next, the student will explain mitigation strategies and techniques. Structural and non-structural examples will be offered. Resiliency, redundancy, continuity of operations, and planning including operations planning will be addressed. Finally, the student will discuss best practices for carrying out a complete assessment and mitigation project of their choosing so as to illustrate to the participant the whole process. Finally, the student will apply Biblical insight into the overall issue. The presentation must include at least 5 sources (which may include the class textbook and the Bible) and adhere to current APA format. INSTRUCTIONS The student will use PPT Mix (Audio/Visual), which may be turned into a Windows Media Video WMV, to present and record his or her information. A minimum of 15 content slides are required not including the cover and reference slides. The student will, at the minimum, use the same headings as listed previously in these instructions. The presentation needs to be at least 15 minutes long and should last no more than 30 minutes maximum. References will be included on the last slide. Once submitted for grading the student will email his or her PPT video to the rest of the class for their review. Attachment Theory and Maternity Leave
Keeping in mind the data and information from the readings and charts/graphs, consider what you have learned (from your text readings and in class presentations) about the importance of attachments between infants and their caregivers and basics about socioemotional development.
The quality of the attachments formed differs between how mothers/parents/caregivers engage with children and based on the child’s temperament. The more secure the attachment, the better the parent-child relationship, but also the better the child’s relationships with others across childhood, and even the better the romantic relationships in adulthood.
The Question
Given what you know about attachment theories, the development of attachment during infancy and its ramifications for relationships across the lifespan, issues of equity and fairness in America, and any economic concerns you think are relevant, address whether the United States government has an ethical (or moral) responsibility to ensure new mothers (or new parents) are provided with paid maternity leave.
This response should incorporate concepts and ideas from at least two attachment theories (or other socioemotional theories), providing evidence that you understand the concepts and ideas of the theories and can connect them to the proper theorist. It should also make a strong argument, either against required maternity leave or for required maternity leave, specifically related to issues of rights, fairness, equity, and/or justice.
You can use any of the theorists — Erikson and Freud (for socioemotional theory), any temperament theorists, and any attachment theories, especially the work of Bowlby and/or Ainsworth. You may want to read into your textbook more for these and/or look them up online (if you look them up online, please cite your sources). One site that can be very helpful in giving simple yet clear and useful overviews of psychological theories is very well mind (verywellmind.com). Another is simply psychology (simplypsychology.com).
Moreover, the rationale should be focused on DEVELOPMENTAL theories.
You may want to state your perspective and then summarize issues of maternity/paternity leave in the US prior to making the argument.
Please cite your sources using APA style — you can site anything you use outside of the three articles, including the textbook.
