It is critical for instructors/institutions to analyze assumptions concerning the student before designing a course or a program. Write an essay that considers your own assumptions and the assumptions you know others have about distance education. Include the following in your essay:
- Provide a detailed description of at least two assumptions
- An explanation of how those assumptions have been addressed in your course/program
- What the institution could do to analyze and work with that assumption in the course or program.
- Elaborate and support your response.
Length: 5-7 pages not including title and reference pages.
